For Mewlody – Cozy Music (Android package com.dreamsapp.mewlody)

Last updated: 4 November 2026

1. Who we are

Mewlody is provided by DreamsApp. For privacy questions contact hassanhale5@gmail.com.

2. Local music and personalization

Mewlody reads music files and related metadata (such as track names, album names, artists and artwork) available on your device to organize and play your music. Playlists, favorites, bookmarks, lyrics, listening history, listening statistics, cozy room preferences, companion customizations and trial timing are stored locally on your device. If you choose a photo or playlist file through the Android document picker, Mewlody reads that selected file to provide the feature you requested.

These local media files, personal notes and customizations are not uploaded to servers operated by DreamsApp in this release. Mewlody does not ask you to create a user account.

3. Permissions and their purposes

4. Purchases and the four-day free period

Mewlody offers four days of free introductory access and three optional Google Play products: a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription and a one-time lifetime unlock. The introductory access does not automatically start a paid subscription. Google Play processes transactions and payment information under Google's own policies. Mewlody receives purchase status and product identifiers so it can unlock access and locally cache purchase entitlement information. DreamsApp does not receive your full payment-card details from the app.

Google's handling of purchase information is explained in the Google Privacy Policy. Subscription cancellation and management take place in Google Play.

5. Disclosure, sharing, and advertising

The Mewlody release described here does not include third-party advertising or our own analytics tracker. We do not sell personal information. Google Play Billing may process device, purchase or transaction information as required to provide its service; that processing is subject to Google's privacy practices. Android and the user's device manufacturer may also process system data independently of Mewlody.

6. Retention and deletion

Local app preferences and listening data remain on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. This does not delete the original music files stored on your device. To erase Mewlody's local data, open Android Settings → Apps → Mewlody → Storage → Clear data, or uninstall the app. Google Play purchase and subscription records are managed by Google; clearing app data does not cancel an active subscription or remove a lifetime purchase from your Google account. If you email us, we use your message to respond and retain that correspondence only as needed to handle the request or meet applicable legal obligations.

7. Security

Mewlody relies on Android app sandboxing and system access controls for device-local data. Google Play Billing communicates with Google over secure connections. No software or storage method guarantees absolute security; keep your device protected and updated.

8. Children's privacy

Mewlody is a general-audience music player and is not specifically directed at children. The app does not knowingly request children's personal information through an in-app account. Parents or guardians may contact us with privacy concerns.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Mewlody's features or data practices change. The latest policy will be available on this page with an updated date. Significant changes will be reflected in the app or its public listing as appropriate.
